Event Description
Madam X has spent the past decade reshaping the UK underground as a genre-defying DJ and visionary. Driven by a fierce desire to innovate and a passion for the off-kilter, she's earned her place as one of the most respected figures in contemporary club music.
The Greek-British DJ’s bass-driven sets are rooted in the pressure of dubstep and the propulsion of techno, always bringing a masterclass in storytelling, propelled by purposeful intent, sub-heavy drums and raw energy.
Madam X’s sound is designed for small basements with big sound systems, making her a perfect fit for the new Hong Kong venue Slap 拍, where she’ll appear on Saturday February 15 for a late afternoon/early evening set presented by Omni and Mixmag Asia, with local heroes Just Bee and Shanda in support.

Botanical notes: Deadly Nightshade (Atropa belladonna) is a highly poisonous plant connected to Greek mythology. In antiquity, the plant was associated with the cult of Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and ecstasy, and the genus name Atropa comes from Atropos, one of the Three Fates in Greek mythology.
